Using predominantly vintage crockery, tiles, and glass, Sarah creates contemporary mosaic art in Suffolk, ranging from expressive portraits to whimsical pieces for the garden.
A large-scale public mosaic commissioned for Trunk Across the Thames, a charity art trail of 30 elephant sculptures, each by a different artist, displayed across Windsor and Slough this summer before being auctioned in October to raise funds for Thames Hospice. If you've arrived here from a plaque, welcome.
Quiet Majesty celebrates comfort, reassurance and strength drawn from fragments of the past. Her surface forms a web of vintage ceramics in soft tones with ornate adornments, evoking memories of patterns from childhood.
Inspired by the white elephant, symbolising wisdom and protection, the piece reflects an enduring bond with our ancestors.

Fine Art trained but for the past decade, Sarah has immersed herself in the medium of mosaic, creating everything from whimsical garden decorations and jewellery to commissioned animal and human portraits, and more recently studying at the London School of Mosaics.
She challenges herself to capture and immortalise spirit, depth and personality, not through paint, but primarily with vintage crockery, tiles and glass, creating pieces that feel both timeless and contemporary.
I have had four mosaic pieces from Sarah and all are beautiful. Such wonderful keepsakes.

I love this hot air balloon so much. It's whimsical and lovely. It looks great on my wall, as if it's floating in the sky.
